I am currently sitting on my couch with my sister Lauren in the middle of a High School Musical marathon. We are planning on watching all three of them today and we're just finishing numero uno! I've been wanting to accomplish this for a while and today just seemed like the perfect day for it. So in honor of our marathon, this is my high school musical jumping pose.

oh and my mother took my sister and I to see Letters to Juliet this morning.... great movie!

148/365 "What time is it? Summertime!"

Happy Birthday to my little 15 year old brother!
For his birthday our parents surprised us by taking us to this place called Sky High. Pretty much it's this rec. center that is made up of trampolines that you just jump on. Even the sides are trampolines so we were able to jump off of them as well. They also had a foam pit where we jumped off the trampolines into the foam. It reminded us of Even Stevens and it was awesome!
Being there made me realize how much I miss having a trampoline. I haven't jumped in so long, but I surprised that I still remembered how to do flips and all that good stuff. I'm pretty sure my back is going to hurt super bad in the morning though.
Then we met up with our good friends Jess and Kelsey Pearce at IN-N-OUT where we enjoyed a great dinner.
And the best part of my day is.... I GOT A POLAROID CAMERA + FILM!! You don't even know how excited I was/still am. Even though I'm using the film wisely because it's hecka expensive, I know that I'm going to have a lot of fun with it this summer.
thanks SO MUCH Anthony!!
PLUS today was our last day of school. So I'm DONE with Junior year and am now a senior.
weird.
Bring on summr!

PURPLE!
so here's the deal, I don't think my family believes in the color purprle, because I seriously walked around my whole house and found nothing that color. So I finally just busted out my markers and here you go.
but I really love the color purple.... a lot!

~today was my last day of chemistry and theatre arts, AND my mom took us to get deep fried oreos after school, pretty good day if you ask me~

GREEN!
today... not the best day. But I watched a live video of Jon Foreman acoustic then talked to my girl Elise Jordan F, so my day's not so bad anymore.
I'm just really tired of being at school and doing absolutely nothing in some classes but A LOT in others. Only three more days though, I hope I can make it.

oh and it was raining all day today, and Graham and I had no other option but to walk home. So we had to walk almost two miles in the rain. I hate the rain. It's hard to tell in this picture, but my entire sweatshirt was soaked and my hair is all nice, wet and frizzy!

144/365

YELLOW!
this picture was a very last minute picture. Yesterday was kind of a stressful day, so I came home from juinor exhibition night, listened to Jim Sparks tell hilarious stories for a while, then went to bed. But as I was trying to go to sleep one thought let to another and I realized I hadn't taken a picture all day. So I jumped out of bed, quickly found something yellow, took a picture of it, then went back to bed. the end.

ORANGE is my favorite color. And I know using oranges for the color orange is kind of lame and not creative at all, but it's whatever.

So I've been thinking today, and for me, today is one of those days that I just really miss Seattle. Like a lot. So I'm just going to share some of my thoughts with you right now...
I think sunday's are the days that I miss life in Seattle most because I actually had a life on sunday's, and I miss that. I mean, having almost a whole day with absolutely nothing to do is great... sometimes, and definitely much needed after a long week of school...but it just seems weird after having busy sunday's spent with some of my closest friends.

I miss attending church with all my friends and seeing their beautiful faces every week
I miss sunday school with everyone, even if they were full of craziness and frustration some of the time
I miss our first sunday of the month starbucks runs
I miss sitting by my friends in church and passing notes throughout the service
I miss everyone hanging out in the fellowship hall laughing and eating soup and crackers
I miss running around church playing with all my little kid friends
I miss having to stay at church until everyone left (ok not really, but sometimes it was fun)
I miss going out to lunch with people on occasion
I miss putting together last minute plans
I miss going on adventures
I miss movie nights
and lastly...
I just miss Seattle and everyone there!
I love you all.

So I'm copying Amanda and starting a theme of colors. I'm actually quite excited about this because I absolutely love colors. So today is colors day 1 and that means... RED!
I've been eyeing these roses for the past few days and since I hadn't taken a picture of them yet I thought today was the perfect day since they're red and all. This picture is kind of boring and the blue sort of takes over the red, but for some reason I really liked the way this one turned out.

Let's go through my day, shall we?
Today was pretty perfect because it was the first saturday in a LONG time that we've had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and nobody to see. The morning started off with sleeping in (YES), then my parents and I were just chillin' in our peaceful room going over summer plans. Graham and Lauren were gone all day at Great America, so we had the day to ourselves. The three of us ended up going out to breakfast at the Salada Cafe, a really cool, super good cafe in Pacifica, then we went to the bank to make sure I'm good for summer money wise, then to the post office to send off camp paperwork. But for some reason people think they should have the day off on saturdays, so the post office was closed. So I'm sending my papers on Monday and they better to camp by friday, I want that bonus...=)

the rest of the afternoon consisted of napping, cooking and just taking it easy. One of the best ways to spend a saturday.
And it's only going to get better because we're having chicken for dinner... my fave.

TGIF! In exactly one week from today I will be done with school for the summer!!!! YES.
Nothing much to report today. School was chill, in chem all we did was go over homework and then have the rest of the period to do nothing. People signed yearbooks, my teacher had food for us, and I just spent my time looking at peoples streams on flickr.... and that's that.

I love me some Ramona, but I don't think the love is returned sometimes. I think she gets annoyed with me. She's a crazy dog.

We were all snacking on the delicious m&m's today. Sometimes they're just the perfect snack. Especially the orange ones.

It's now about 8:30, my bro and sis are gone for the night and all day tomorrow, that means it's just me and the parents. We're going to watch Invictus now... goodbye!

WOW!
I only have one more week left of school and I still have tons of things to get done. I don't think my school believes in slowing down the last couple weeks of school and just chillaxing. I'm pretty sure they're going to work us until the last minute of the school year. UGH!
So I just have a lot of things to do and it's making me just a tad big stressed. At least most of them are due tomorrow and/or the beginning of next week... so maybe I'll have time to do nothing...?

one week from tomorrow, one week from tomorrow, ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!

139/365

So I've been sick for the past week or so, but that's no surprise because I feel like I'm always sick. Anyways, my nose hasn't stopped running and everything is all icky up there and all I'm doing is blowing my nose 24/7. so yesterday my mom had me do this:

she poured steaming hot water into a bowl that contained tea bags, then I had to put my head above the bowl with a towel over my head to keep in all steam and make sure it went up my nose. I guess it was supposed to help de-congest me, but I don't really think it worked.
It was an interesting experience though.

I'm done with school. SO done. The last day of school just won't come soon enough.
Only 10 more days until I'm FREE!

I like flowers

p.s. I just looked back at this picture and realized how ridiculously bright it is... oh my gosh. sorry if it blinds anyone.

please tell me why there's so much rain in the middle of May... please!
One Tree Hill Finale tonight.... thank goodness it's almost over.

136/365

Yesterday was Sunday. After church, I spent the whole day with Stephanie and our new friend from England, Hayley. She's super cool.
We got lunch at Red Robbin, then spent the rest of the day driving around and having good conversations. We went to the mall and looked around in Hot Topic, I love converse.

they also had this shirt there. I'm pretty sure this shirt was made for me.

Finally, to end the day we went to South San Franciscos production of Godspell. A few of our friends were in it and it was really good. The music was perfect, the acting was great, it was hilarious and overall entertaining. I enjoyed it.
and props to my sister for her few lines and couple of songs.
=))

135/365

Saturday- Lauren, Stephanie and I went thrift store shopping, one of my favorite past times.

134/365

look what my friend Kim Kim got me!!
GIANT Pocky sticks. I love them so much.
also, I went to the goodwill on Tuesday and they had about three polaroid cameras, each one was only $10 too, so ever since I've been wanting a polaroid camera with film. Actually, I've always wanted one, but now I REALLY would like one. But film is SO freaking expensive. look it up, I wanted to cry. But I'm determined that someone I know either has some or knows someone with a camera and film.
So my fellow bloggers and blog readers, if you or anyone you know has a polaroid camera + film that isn't used anymore, hook me up! you would make all of my wildest dreams come true.
=)

also, moves came out today for The Salvation Army (don't worry guys I'm staying put), but I've just been thinking about the past year. It's crazy to me how exactly one year ago I found out that I was moving away from everyone I knew and loved in Seattle, because really, it's all still fresh in my mind and seems like only yesterday. I'm just glad I don't have to go through that again.
So to anyone and everyone who found out they are moving today (especially if you're in high school), I would just like to let you know that I'm thinking about you, and you may not believe me now, but things will be ok... eventually.

Love, Emilygrace

Yesterday (Thursday) was blah!
I'm sick again and I just didn't want to do anything. I couldn't concentrate at school, I talked funny because my nose is all stuffy and I had a super bad headace. I was almost tempted to go home. But I didn't.
this is Ramona. She's my baby, but only when she's not in a crazy mood.
I don't really think she likes it when I try and take pictures of her though because all she wanted to do was sniff the bushes. oh Ramona!

132/365

Wednesday... I don't remember Wednesday really.
I guess it as a lazy day because I took a picture of bread. But anyways, Lauren made some friendship bread and it's seriously the best thing I've ever tasted in my life.

I have nothing to say today. Just an average, ok day.
Only 17 more days until I'm done with school

130/365

Got my camp paperwork today... which means one step closer to summer.
The Summer just won't come fast enough will it?

129/365

Yesterday was Mother's Day!
It was a pretty chill day in my household. I worked a lot more on my paper and finished it, but so many things went wrong with printing it that I started getting stressed that it was going to be late. In the end my mom just took me to her work to print it out in peace.

My mother has been sewing a lot lately and these are her pins. I like them because they're so colorful!

128/365

sorry for the belated posts. Our internet/computer has been freaking out lately which means I haven't been able to access my bloggy blog. But don't worry, I'M ALIVE...

So Saturday... I stayed home by myself all day long, literally. I told myself that I was going to finish my Jr. Exhibition essay. So I grabbed my water, an uncrustable, some chips and salsa, my phone, my mom's laptop and plopped down on my bed with all my papers surrounding me. But of course when I have internet access, writing a paper is a little impossible for me. Especially since I haven't been able to concentrate even without the internet. So I didn't get very far, but I still got part of it accomplished. Then I decided to be done and watched The Notebook instead.
It was a pretty good day.

127/365

Yesterday was Friday...
It was a pretty nice day out and so I had Lauren dress up to take pictures with me. They didn't quite turn out the way I had pictured them in my head, but the sun still made them more beautiful.

126/365

So my Aunt gave me a piggy bank yesterday for part of my 'college fund'
I asked her if it had a name and she said that it didn't, so I told her I would name it.
It has to be Princess... something...
any suggestions?
Her name, thanks to the brilliant help of Amanda Wennstig, is now Princess Penelope. OF COURSE! How did I not think of that earlier?

125/365

Yesterday was a daddy-daughter type day.
I had a tour of Sacramento State scheduled, so my dad and I just made a day trip out of it. It was a good day. We got breakfast and coffee at a crepe place, took a tour of the campus (which I really enjoyed), then spent the rest of the day at my grandparents with them and my Aunt Barbara.
Overall it was a very successful trip.  I got one more college under my belt to think about. 4 down, 2 (maybe 3) more to go...craziness!!  This sign was on the campus. It cracked me up...
I have the same phone as both of my grandparents... no big deal!
This was part of the scenery on the way home. The whole trip was so beautiful. Especially the sunset.

124/365

It's been an interesting couple of days. A lot on my mind, a lot to think about... just a lot of different things running through my head.

All of these things inspired this picture... and this of course: http://www.flickr.com/photos/claudijay/2454274272/in/faves-emilygrace1/

p.s. at first I tried to write 'he loves me, he loves me not' on the pedals, but the pen was being stupid.

123/365

haha.... 1-2-3...=)
so today was a lazy day. I was SUPER tired today and not really up for thinking about picture taking. So I stepped on my back porch and snapped a picture of our new lawn chairs that my mom and I just got.
you like?

oh and Ramona decided to get in the way of everything because she's a stubborn little thing.

122/365

I woke up this morning, earlier than I should've on a day off from school, and it was so sunny outside. I stepped out on our porch to feel what the weather was like, and it was surprisingly warm for 7 in the morning. So I ran upstairs, got my camera and went in the front yard where the sun was coming up. It was so peaceful.
Everything around me was silent except for the birds chirping, and I could just feel that it was going to be a nice day. It actually reminded me of Camp when no one is really around or awake yet. It was a great feeling.

121/365

May Day!!
the one day that gives me an excuse to take pictures of flowers and I don't. awesome.

Last night we went to San Jose for the World Service meeting. It was great. They played one of the first showings of Nikole Lim's film: "While Women Weep" and oh my goodness... it was very powerful. It followed three women in Kenya, Africa and showed just how strong and hopeful they are after everything they've been through. It made me miss Africa so much more than you could ever imagine. But luckily my dad got the book, DVD and also let me get a bracelet that women made in Kenya, so we got to bring a little more of Africa home with us.
I wish so badly to go back there some day. I do, I do...

these are all the button's in my mom's car...
