questions that are running through my mind:
Who? What? Where? When? Why?

also I just finished doing research for these 5 questions. I've been working on it for the past couple of weeks and it's due tomorrow, and I'm done!

4 more school weeks left, I can do this!

Philippians 4:6
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

yesterday I wasn't feeling good. Too much testing. but at least it's over now.
Not gonna lie, this was a last minute right before bed picture.

Also, I had the hiccups really bad yesterday during lunch. it was funny...

Today it came. My new favorite shirt finally arrived in the mail. It was a total surprise too.
I came home from school and checked the mail just like every other day, and today I had a package. I looked at the name and it said it was from Andrew something or other from Canada. I was greatly confused. But then it clicked! They Bured Life guys are from Canada, and I ordered a shirt from them. I was so excited! I put it on right away and have been wearing it since.

say hello to our brand new treadmill. I dont' think I've ever been so excited to exercise. I dont' really know why I am, I think it's just because I know it's something I should do and somehow having a treadmill will make it easier for me since I just have to go in our garage and turn the thing on. But anyways, I used it for the first time today and it felt good. Hopefully I will use it as much as I want myself too and start getting fit!

Yesterday I volunteered for 'A Million Meals for Haiti.'
From 4-8pm my team and I helped put together as many meals as we could for Haiti. The entire event took place from about 8am-11pm in this huge warehouse, and by the end of the day a million meals had been put together.
It was very tiring, my feet started hurting like heck, and at some points I just wanted to quit. But at the end of the day I know that I was apart of something bigger than myself and that I helped a lot of people who were in desperate need of food. And that felt good!

It's FRIDAY! oh how I love Friday's.
This is how today went: went to school, took the science part of the STAR test (not so lovely), had lunch, then watched movies in third period, came home, chilled, made dinner and then cookies for dessert. This is how they turned out... haha, I'm still learning how to perfect them, but at least they taste good, that's all that matters... right?

also our treadmill came today! our family has been waiting so long for it and now it's here! I don't think any of us have ever been so excited to start exercising, it's kind of cool. I can't wait to use it!

Happy Earth Day!
I celebrated by watching my mom pull weeds and by taking pictures of God's beautiful creation.

this weather needs to GO AWAY. I'm tired of rain and wind and cold, grey skies. It's almost May for crying out loud. I just want it to be summer so I can bust out the shorts, tank tops, flip flops, sun dresses, and get some color on my skin. for reals.
I had a different idea for my picture today, but we don't have an umbrella (I know right? we're from Seattle, but my mom said that only tourists in Seattle use umbrellas..) and our poncho stinks like puke. So I was just left with rainboots. The second picture is just for fun, it made me look kind of cartoonish. I liked it.

oh Pocky!
chocolate cream covered biscuit sticks full of greatness!

109/365

I've been in the mood to make DIY (do it yourself) clothes lately. I've cut up many old t-shirts into tank tops, and a pair of pants into shorts because I'm in some desperate need of summer clothes. It's fun. I've failed many of them, but it's still fun. This is one of them.

107/365

Today was a chill day. I spent the morning cleaning and organizing my room which felt really nice, coloring, listening to music... just taking it easy.
Then I went to the Wild's house for a party! I hung out with all the kids and little ones since there wasn't anyone my age. But I didn't mind at all. To be honest, even if there was people there my age, I still would've hung out with the kids. They're just so funny, and way funner to be around!

106/365

Taylor spent the night last night. Of course we had a great time filled with late night walks to the park in footy pajamas, cheez-its, a movie, looking up pictures of deep fried oreos (doesn't that sound so good?) and The Buried Life stalking. all in all... it was a great 12 hours or so.

105/365

Thursday- lazy day. made some delicious peanut butter cookies. watched Pirates 3. and then was too tired to stay up for project runway.
like my new elephant earrings?

Springy Spring time. Today I felt lazy, and when I'm lazy I just take pictures of flowers.
oh and I have about 32(ish) days left of school, not including weekends. What's up?!

Today, first day back from spring break, ew.
That's about it.
Oh and I've been thinking about The Buried Life lately (mostly looking at pictures, wanting to buy one of their t-shirts, waiting for their show to come back on, and hoping that one day Jonny will fall in love with me...), that's what inspired this picture.
Just Live your Life!

What do you want to do before you die?
Me, I want to see the world, go back and serve in Africa, swim with dolphins...

102/365

today=blah.
it's my last day of spring break and so far it has consisted of: doing laundry, cleaning my room, unpacking, finishing up homework, and computering (I'm not sure if that's a word, but it's whatever).
today aslo = blah because it's so stormy and rainy. It kind of sucks when you go on vacation somewhere that has perfect weather (like San Diego for example), and then you come home to a place that has disgusting, bi-polar weather (like Pacifica). ew.

like my new shoes. The baseball ones are from the salvatoin army thrift store, and the blue ones are from H&M. they're my summer shoes!

101/365

last night my family and I went to church in Santa Cruz. The church was called Vintage Faith and it was a very cool place to worship. I loved it a lot, the people, the worship, the pastor, the whole vibe was just great and very much needed.
They have a coffee shop connected with it called The Abbey, with live music a lot. I really want to check it out sometime. Too bad it's not closer.

Saturday-
on our way home we stopped by the Helms and hung out for a while. I love them. They're great. Especially Katie. I like her.
and I didn't even realize that this is the 100th post for the year, so in honor of that here's a picture of Spencer dancing in his room.

99/365

Friday-
relaxed in the morning, went to H&M, got some stuff for summer including awesome sunglasses, ate lunch at The Old Spaghetti Factory (one of our favorites that we haven't been to in a while because San Francisco doesn't have one!!), then we went to Old Town San Diego.
That place is so cool. I can't describe it. Just go there.
Then for dinner we went to the Bearchell's house. It was a great time with great friends!

98/365

Thursday-
Went to San Diego State University in the morning. LOVED IT. then went to the San Diego Zoo.
My dad kept describing it as the zoo of all zoo's, and I didn't understand why. But it's pretty huge and has lots of animals. More than other zoo's I've been to.
These are the meerkats, I liked them, and I kept singing "dig a tunnel, dig dig a tunnel"

97/365

Wednesday- we just chilled in the morning, then I went and toured UC San Diego. It was ok. I liked it but some of the things the tour guide person talked about were really confusing. But they had a lot of cool other things they do there.
for example, in May they're having a concert, festival thing and guess who's playing there? Relient K, along with other people of course, but no big deal. =))
After UCSD we went back to Linda's, and then headed to the dog park in her VW van. A lifelong dream fulfilled for me. oh man it was an awesome experience.
this is Misty!

96/365

Tuesday we headed to San Diego. That means that we drove all day. 12 hours to be exact. So obviously I wasn't going to get a super legit picture for the day.
Outside was beautiful though and it made me wish I wasn't stuck in the car all day. The sky was so blue with a few scattered clouds and the grass was so green. sometimes the country just looks so appealing to me.
and this is my family. Dad's driving, Graham's reading, Ramona can't just chill out, I'm taking pictures, Lauren's drawing and mom's enjoying the scenery like me.

95/365

This morning my mom and I went to Berkeley for a tour and information.
It's such a bittersweet thought that I'm starting to seriously think about college, and that a year from now I will be ending my Senior year. gah!
But I actually really liked Berkeley. I liked the whole vibe, and college town scene, plus we had a great tour guide who made it seem a lot more appealing.
Also it reminded me a lot of The University of Washington when I visited. Just all the old and really cool looking buildings, and also all the green and nature stuff.

Today was my first of 3 college tours this week. We head to San Diego tomorrow for the rest of the week since I'm on spring break, so we're looking a couple while we're down there.
Once again, kind of exciting, but super scary!

Happy Easter (yesterday)!
We went to the Wild's house last night for coffee and dessert, this was one of their decorations.

Yesterday we got to see our cousins Ryan and Josh. We picked them up in Santa Clara then hung out in Santa Cruz all day. We got pizza, cold stone, went to TSA thrift store, then walked along the boardwalk. It was a good time.
Here's Graham and Lauren for ya. Josh let me use his camera for a while, that's why the quality is great!

Last day of Interim, first official day of Spring Break!!
Today we went to the Golden Gate Bridge. It was foggy, rainy and freeeeeezing the entire time. But we still tried to make a good time out of it by mostly staying inside the cafe drinking mochas.
Before we left we walked around Fort Point which is right under the bridge. Jenny and I enjoyed going all the way to the top floor. We stood as far as we could on the edge and started screaming at the top of our lungs. We were letting some people know what we really thought of them. It was good therapy if you ask me. =)

91/365

random fact of the day: I love Nicholas Sparks.

APRIL FOOL'S!!!
My sister and I just saw The Last Song. It was cute and funny. We both liked it, but it was so sad. I cried. I should've seen it coming. After crying in this movie AND in Dear John last month I have come to the conclusion that Nicholas Sparks is one of the craziest, most ridiculous guys on the planet. The End.

Anyways, for my fourth day of Interim I went to:
Mission, which had lots of unique murals and where I got a 75 cent donut plus a few free donut holes because the guy was nice.
Union Square, where we looked in H&M, Urban Outfitters, got pizza at Blondie's, and rode the elevator to the 31st floor of a fancy hotel.
and finally we went to Chinatown where I bought two packs of wonderful pockey sticks.

another random fact of the day: I strongly dislike pigeons (for reals this time), but I think this picture makes it look prettier than they are in real life.

90/365

Who loves San Francisco skies? I do!!
For Interim we went down to The Embarcadero area. We walked through the buildings, went to the Ferry Building, walked down the pier, talked to a cool guy in a kitchen store, ate Noah's Bagels (SO good) for lunch and then just hung out in the lobby of the Hyatt Hotel for about an hour before we got starbucks and headed home. I made it home just in time before it started raining like crazy.

This was part of the water fountain we hung around. I liked it.
