275/365

Lauren has been non-stop making friendship bracelets. This is some of her string.
p.s. I promise that I will start putting more thought and creativity into my pictures. I've just been really lazy lately.

274/365

This is new stuff I got to try and help with my headaches/stress. I put some on my fingers, breathe it in, then rub it on my temples. It is so nice and relaxing.

273/365

This is my BIG senior calendar of deadlines and events. It goes month by month all the way up to graduation. It's pure craziness!

THE BURIED LIFE SEASON TWO PREMIERES TONIGHT!!

I just thought I'd let everyone know how very excited I am for this night. I don't know how many of you know this, but I am in love with the buried life guys (specifically Jonnie) and I've been waiting so long for this night to come.
I decided that today's picture will be in honor of Duncan, Jonnie, Ben and Dave, and I will also share one thing I want to do before I die.

Before I die I would love to swim with dolphins. When I was younger dolphins were my favorite animal and I think they still are today. But ever since I became fascinated with them I've had this burning desire to swim with them, have them pull me around and just play with them. I came close when I saw wild ones in Hawaii, but that doesn't cut it. I am determined to one day swim with dolphins no matter what it takes.

so now I shall ask you... What do YOU want to do before you die?

Yeserday (Sunday), we went to The Salvation Army Mission Corps. They have super cool murals painted on the walls in the back.

270/365

...and today it was even warmer and sunnier.
We spent the first part of our day at Fog Fest. A cute little street fair here in Pacifica. I got a henna tatoo that I love very much.

It doesn't look very pretty in this picture because it's still peeling... but it will, trust me.

269/365

Yesterday is was warm and sunny...

268/365

missed another day... urgh. I'm very upset with myself.

267/365

Yesterday was Wednesday, and on Wednesday's there is a cute little farmers market by Rockaway Beach. So my mom, Lauren and I stopped by there in the afternoon.
I love farmers markets. I'm usually not a big fan of fruits and vegetbles, but for some reason they all look so appetizing at farmers markets. I think it's the sun and all the colors and prettiness. Everything stands out to me. Everything... except maybe these.

266/365

Tuesday- guess what guys? the SUN is out!! Finally!
this is a little bird house wind chime thingy we have.

265/365

I am not a fan of Monday's. Just like to point that out there.

Today I was going through all the polaroid pictures that I've taken, which inspired this picture.
I really love polaroids, and even though I don't take very many of them, I am going to be very sad the day I run out.
Anyways... pictures to me are memories that I can keep forever, that's one of the reasons why photography is so close to my heart. One of my favorite past times is going through all the hundreds of pictures that I've printed out over the past few years and reminiscing all the great times I have cherished with people. And everytime I do I always go back to the same thought of:

"I wonder who is going to be in my life/pictures in the future..."

right now, my future is this big huge question mark to me. But it calms my heart a little bit to know that I have plenty of people in my life who aren't a question mark and who I know will be in my future no matter what.

264/365

today we went to church at Sac. Citadel, ate lunch with Chrissy, Fulton and Bella Hawk (super fun!), then headed home. what a good weekend!

263/365

Saturday- we were in Sacramento all weekend and on Saturday we went to Old Sacramento.
This is Graham and our new second cousin James.

262/365

I missed another day
=(

261/365

Thursday- the Wild's and us had our first worship team meeting of the year. We discussed our favorite worship songs, what we wanted to get out of this year and also what our bible study was going to be based off of. We are going to read through 2 Peter, so I opened up my bible and right above 2 Peter was this verse:

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you"
-1 Peter 5:7
Kind of perfect!

260/365

Wednesday- went to Origins with my momma and left with some goodies!

259/365

Tuesday- this is my chapstick collection that people apparently like to steal from.

258/365

Monday.

Day 25: Your favorite song at this time last year
"Vanilla Twilight" by Owl City

After camp this was most definitely my favorite song in the entire world. I probably listened to it a million times a day. About a year ago was when I first started to listen to Owl City and out of all the songs this one stood out to me the most. The words were perfect and I was in love with it.
Now... not so much. But I still this it's pretty!
"But drenched in vanilla twilight
I sit on the front porch all night
waist deep in thought because
when I think of you I don't feel so alone..."

256/365

Day 24: A song that you never get tired of
"Love Story" by Taylor Swift

This is probably one of the few songs that I can listent to over and over again without getting super annoyed with it. When the music video first came out, my friend Maddie and I stayed up all night watching it over and over again. And then when we stopped watching it, we listened to it one my ipod on repeat. And I still love it!
Yesterday and today we were in Pasadena for the welcome of cadets (a Salvation Army thing).
It was great to see family and friends.  And the weather couldn't have been more perfect!

255/365

Day 23: A song you can play on an instrument
"Falling Slowly" from the movie Once

Once I saw the movie I fell in love with this song and I had to learn it on the piano. So I downloaded the music and ever since I can't stop playing it. It's one of my favorites to play. I think it's beautiful!

Day 22: A song with no lyrics
Explosions in the Sky

Now this isn't a song, but it's a group that only has instrumental songs. I didn't think I knew any songs with no lyrics, besides band music or some classical piano songs, but then I remembered that last year LeAnne told me about this group she liked called Explosions in the Sky. She said they were only instrumental and she enjoyed listening to them when she needed to relax. So she gave me a copy of their cd, and now I know of songs that have no lyrics.

253/365

Day 21: A song with great lyrics
"Awake my Soul" by Mumford & Sons

The group/CD is one of the latest discoveries in my family and I absolutely love it. I've only listened to the entire CD once but there are definitely a few songs that stand out. This being one of them. My favorite line in this song is:
"In these bodies we will live
in these bodies we will die
Where you invest your love
you invest your life..."

p.s. sorry for the two boring plant pictures in a row. I've been out of it lately. =(

Day 20: A song from your childhood
"Kick me" by Plus One

This song brings me back to Portland, OR. That's where I fell in love for the first time. =))
not really, but that's where my love for the christian pop band Plus One grew. My friend Hannah and I were in love with them and it was just recently that I was at her house and we listened to them for a few days straight. That's how much they meant to me.
This song also reminds me of Taylor Covert. If I remember correctly we had a little dance to this song.

Today I didn't not want to be awake at all. The first day back at school after a holiday is always hard. So sorry for my boring picture. I wasn't feeling too hot.

251/365

Day 19: A song you wish you could play
"A thousand miles" by Vanessa Carlton

The first time I heard this song I fell in the love with the piano part. And ever since I have dreamed about playing it on the piano. But I've tried and tried and it's just too hard for me. Oh well, maybe someday!

Monday was farewell day. Always sad. But I'm just glad the weekend ended on a beautiful note.

250/365

Day 18: A song that makes you laugh
"If I had $1,000,000" by the Barenaked Ladies

This song reminds me of when I was younger. I'm pretty sure my parents used to listen to them because a few of their songs take me back. But I think this song is just a fun, funny song. And it's the first one that popped into my head.

Sunday I finally did a small photoshoot with some of my favorite models. It was fun. Just like always.

249/365

Day 17: A song from a band you can't stand
???
I'm drawing a blank again. I can't think of a band that I genuinely can't stand.

Saturday we spent the entire day at the beach in Capitola. When the sun set they played Mamma Mia on the beach. It was the perfect end to the perfect day.

248/365

Day 16: A song from your favorite band
"Deathbed" by Relient K

Relient K is my favorite band, and besides 'Who I am Hates Who I've been'... 'Deathbed' is my second favorite of theirs. I know it's kind of a morbid title and it's most definitely a morbid/depressing song. But it tells a great story.

Friday we went to camp to spend the weekend there. If you can't tell, this is a last minute picture.

247/365

Day 15: A song from your favorite album
"Hello Hurricane" from the Switchfoot album Hello Hurricane.

This is probably one of my most favorite CD's!
Jon Foreman is just brilliant. Everything from his voice to his lyrics. This CD is amazing and you need to go listen to the entire thing right now!

246/365

Day 14: A song that describes you
???
Now this one I'm really stuck. I have absolutely no idea what song describes me. So maybe, do you have any thoughts?

I played Jenga while babysitting last week. We got tired of the actual game, so we just pretended they were dominos.

245/365

Day 13: A song no one would expect you to love

This one was also very challenging for me. The only thing I could think of would be some rap/hip hop song that I like, because I don't feel like I'm much of a rap person. So I'm choosing the Jason Derulo song "Ridin' Solo"... because.... I really like it.

I've slowly been adding more pictures to my wall. Except I don't think I need to because I'm actually running out of wall space.
