Katie went home today. I miss her and Summer already, but I am more than happy that they got to come for a while. It's like nothing changed and things were back to normal when they were here. I loved it. I love them. Friendships are great things and I am so blessed to have so many in my life, even if most of them are miles away.As for my day, mostly just dreading going to school tomorrow. I came home and my family all left to go to church, so I finally get to have some Emily time. It's been a while and I miss it. I think everyone needs time alone to get away from everything and just... be. It's good for you. Refreshing. So for me, that means playing the piano for a while, taking pictures, and listening to itunes.
Music and Pictures... my true loves that will never fail me.

You sound like me. I am an extroverted person, but I learned recently that sometimes I just need to have some time to think and write some poems.
I really agree with this. And I love it. Time to yourself is important and I am glad emily you found some time to do that.
