Good Day!
I started off the day by attending Vintage Faith Church again. I would just like to say that I love that place. Absolutely love it. I love the people, the coffee at the Abbey, the music, the preaching... everything. I wish I lived in Santa Cruz so I could go there every week.

Then I had a photoshoot with my sister. What I like to call a sistashoot!

And finally, I ended the day by buying a hat, scarf and leggings for the winter at H&M and Forever 21. Now I will hopefully keep warm this winter.

Went to The Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz. Super cool place, and totally mind blowing. I can't even describe to you what it is. So look it up. But yes, Lauren is definitely leaning that far off of the table.

Went to camp for a weekend away. Since it's been freezing, I spent the evening drinking hot chocolate, watching t.v. and enoying the warm fire.

Thanksgiving!
Just us, the Birksfam. It was a quiet and cozy day. I ate more mashed potatoes than I probably should, and finished the day with a nice walk through the dog park. It was another beautiful day, minus the cold.

On Wednesday Tucker left. So before he left we spent the afternoon showing him around the city one last time. It was a beautiful day!

random thought of the day that wouldn't leave my mind: I hate snow, but for some reason I wish so badly that I could be in Seattle right now, playing in it and having snow days. Instead I get freezing cold days without the snow, along with heavy winds and rain. boo. So to all my out of state friends... I am beyond jealous of you at the moment.

Yesterday I went to a studio to get my senior portraits taken. I'm really happy with how they turned out and I can't wait to order them and give them to people. Beforehand I got my makeup done at Origins, and I was happy with how that turned out as well. After my portraits we got ice cream and I had the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had in  my entire life.
All in all, it was a good day.

yesterday was a great day with great friends. We went to Pier 30 and Fort Point and I'm so happy that the sun was out and the sky was clear. It was beautiful!

 then we came home and crashed. And by crashed I mean we all piled onto my bed and pretended like we were taking a nap.

On Thursdsay I saw a pre-showing of Harry Potter before it came out. We got these pretty nifty badges along with goody bags of harry potter stuff. It was fun, not to mention the movie was pretty great!

Yesterday... not the best day in the world.
How did I fix that? By watching Glee all night instead of studying for a gov. test.

And then my parents brought me home my favorite truffles (which I'm pretty sure are made in heaven) and a cute little stuffed animal elephant. What should I name it?

Today was a good Saturday. Pretty close to perfect.
I slept in until 10am (which I don't think I've ever done), I stayed in my sweats for a while, went to the thrift store, got mexican chocolate ice cream at Mitchell's, and talked to Taylor for a little bit. To top it all off, the sun was out all day and it was actually warm. I loved it.

I only wish I could've gone to The Rocket Summer concert last night, but I don't know anyone who likes them. That's ok thought because I got to see Switchfoot live on Jay Leno. I love those guys.

Today = no school.
What did I do?... nothing.
I stayed in my pajamas all day, watching t.v. although there was nothing on, and being bored. But I did have some fun with my polaroid today. I missed Charlie.

I swam in P.E. today and it was actually kind of fun. When I told Katie Helms about this she pointed out how weird it was because 1. I don't like swimming and 2. I don't like school, so how come I liked simming at school? I have no idea. But I did. weird.

 these are the buttons on my bag for school. I also have one for The Silent Comedy, but it's on the other pocket. The one on the botton is my Seattle one. It's my favorite. <3
